The Symbols in the Picture

The “J” in “Jesus”, the cross in the middle, and the “F” in “Freak” resemble the 3 crosses that were there on Calvary the day our Lord was crucified. Also in those three, there are 3 points with red at the tips, resembling the 3 nails that pierced our Savior as well as the other two people being crucified that night. The funny looking thing in the middle has a lot of meaning behind it. It’s made to look like a heart in remembrance of how much God loves us (unconditionally). It is also made to look like a tear and a drop of blood as a reminder that Jesus is fully human and cried and bled just like we do. The top is made to resemble the tombstone being rolled away. It is also made to look like the sun as a reminder that he is the Son of God; and as a reminder of Jesus’ resurrection and, therefore, His true divinity.
